No. It not a religious chapel and may be used for whatever type of ceremony you wish. How much does it cost? Click here to see our price list What is supplied? The facilities (The White Chapel and Harbor Hall) and the table and chairs. What is the guest capacity of the White Chapel and Harbor Hall? Harbor Hall can accommodate 150 Guests (classroom or theater style) and 130 guests banquet style. White Chapel can accommodate 150 guests What does the rental of the White Chapel include? Services included in the rental of the White Chapel are the use of the Chapel Sanctuary, chairs, electricity, keyboard and the Bride’s Room. What does the rental of Harbor Hall include? Services included in the rental of The Hall are the use of the Reception Hall, Men’s and Women’s Restrooms and Hall Foyer. When is the White Chapel available for rental? The White Chapel may be rented ANYTIME for a 3-hour block of time. All activities, including decorating and photography, must fall within the 3-hour time period. Is additional rental time available for the White Chapel? Additional time, as available, will be charged at $150.00, plus sales tax, per hour and must be contracted for at the time you book the White Chapel. Included in the package price is a one-hour rehearsal to be scheduled the Thursday or Friday before the event. When will the rehearsal for my wedding take place? The rehearsal schedule will be set at the time the final payment for event is made. When is Harbor Hall available for rental? The Hall may be rented ANYTIME for a 7-hour block of time. All activities, including set-up, decorating and clean-up, must fall within the 7-hour time period. (2-hours for the caterer to set up, 4-hour reception and 1-hour clean up for the caterer.) Is additional rental time available for Harbor Hall? Additional time, as available, will be charged at $150.00, plus sales tax, per hour and must be contracted for at the time you book the Hall. Other rental times are available. Please ask our staff for additional information. The rental fees for these time periods will be $75.00-$150.00/hour, plus sales tax, with a 2-hour minimum. Please ask Staff member on site for quote. When do I pay and what type of deposit is required? At the time this License is signed, Licensee shall pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the rental fee plus tax and a $250.00 refundable security deposit. (refundable security deposit will be returned within 15 business days). The remaining balance must be paid 30 days in advance of the event and at that time, the entire rental fee becomes non-refundable. Do you provide catering? No. You would need to contract a licensed professional caterer who carries general comprehensive liability insurance. The limit of liability for personal injury and/or bodily injury, including death, shall be not less than $500,000 per occurrence; and property damage shall not be less than $100,000 per occurrence. Can we serve alcohol at our event? Yes, but you must contract with a licensed and insured caterer, or other professional, to dispense alcoholic beverages at the event. This professional shall carry general comprehensive liability insurance, with limits of liability for personal injury and/or bodily injury, including death, of not less than $500,000 per occurrence; and property damage of not less than $100,000 per occurrence. What instruments and electronic devices are permitted? Normal electrical service is available within the White Chapel so electronic keyboards, acoustic instruments and small sound systems are permitted. Normal electrical service is also available within Harbor Hall so electronic keyboards, DJs, acoustic instruments and small sound systems are permitted, but volumes must be maintained at reasonable levels so the sound is totally contained within Harbor Hall. Are there any restrictions on floral arrangements? Floral arrangements, candelabra, chair treatments, potted plants, etc. are allowed in the White Chapel, but all items must be free standing What decorations are permitted in Harbor Hall? Decorations are allowed in Harbor Hall, but all items must be free standing. Please do not attach items to Harbor Hall fixtures, walls or windows. Our staff is available in advance to consult with you and/or your vendors regarding your decorating plans. Staff on hand the day of the event will have the authority to disallow any decorations not meeting our guidelines. All items must be removed immediately following your event within the time frame of your rental period. Can we throw rice after the wedding? We do not allow the use of rice, bird seed, balloons, crepe paper, confetti, flower petals, tape or staples within the White Chapel or its surrounding area. Bubbles or a butterfly release are permitted but must take place beyond the White Chapel entrance door on the public sidewalk or in the parking lot. Note: Flower Girls may only drop silk flower petals within The White Chapel. Do you provide wedding coordinator services? No. We will have someone on staff to help with the flow of events but We ask that you designate a friend (or hire a consultant) to act as your coordinator the day of your event. Is smoking permitted? There is no smoking allowed within the White Chapel. Smokers may go outside.
